The room at the Grand Star Hotel in Taksim, Istanbul, was average; however, there was occasionally a noticeable odor emanating from the toilet, and excessive noise from the corridor was a frequent disturbance. Despite these drawbacks, the staff members were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the breakfast provided was of very poor quality. The food's low quality left much to be desired, detracting from the overall experience. On a positive note, the hotel's proximity to Taksim Square, the metro, and various attractions is advantageous for guests looking to explore the vibrant city of Istanbul. Its convenient location facilitates easy access to key destinations, enhancing the travel experience for visitors. In conclusion, while the Grand Star Hotel offers some benefits such as friendly staff and a strategic location, improvements are needed in terms of room maintenance, noise control, and breakfast quality to provide a more satisfactory stay for guests.

Not a pleasant staying

We're currently staying at this hotel and I'm afraid to say this was a big mistake. Small room for 3 people, no space for baggages or even walking. They're not changing the sheets and towels even though we put the sign outside and we have to strongly ask for cleaning the room. Also cockroaches in bathroom and room, repeated and very simple breakfast everyday. Don't waste your money on this hotel.

Never choose this hotel , i am honest, rooms smelly , smell of toilet, dirty rooms, i changed two rooms , but the smell was terrible everywhere bed was so small , room so tide , so noisy , until 2 AM disco noise was so loud, we couldnt sleep, Front desk very rude especially Serhet who shout on me because i asked for a pillow 😤 and waited 40 min for that , It deserve 1 star or even 0

Very bad experience, services is terrible and rooms is so so tight and not clean also all the people in front disk speak in a rude way , breakfast is so bad , no tv works in rooms , WiFi is poor , no water or tea every day at rooms , For me this hotel one star maximum

Actually, I read all review of Grand star before booking, and then I chose this hotel. But no one mentioned the problem of grand star. it was really dirty and smelly room. The smell of pee made us crazy. Moreover, It was too noisy. The noise of street and other guests were really awful. Also in lobby there were inspects and beetles. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL AT ALL
